Animals aren't the only important population living on Earth. We humans exist too! Human Demography is what we'll explore through this game.

The global human population has been growing at an incredible rate! What we'll examine now, though, data from regions, or more specifically, countries of the world. Different countries can have different population dynamics. The most common configurations are high birth and death rate, and low birth and death rate. Going from the first to the second is known as a demographic transition, and is associated with improved quality of life.

In Demographle, your goal is to guess the mystery country based on demographics, which are given to you! Here are the statistics given:

• Population: how many people are currently living in the country.
• Birth Rate: the number of children born to each female over a lifetime.
• Life Expectancy: the number of years an infant is expected to live for. A good measure of quality of life.
• Infant Mortality: the number of infant deaths per 1000 live births. This can vary a ton based on quality of life.
• Footprint: the ecological footprint per capita in the country, in global hectares of ecologically productive land. This is a measure of the usage of Earth's resources, land and water.
• Energy Use: in Watts of energy per capita.
• Age Structure: in the form of an age pyramid. This is not split apart by sex like the textbook. This pyramid shows the distribution of individuals by age in the country, which gives insight into social conditions and growth trends.

• You'll be told how close geographically your guess is to the target!
• Try to guess in as few attempts as possible.
